Well, for most folks today will be Happy Labor Day … so for the bulk of you all HAPPY LABOR DAY !!

You would have loved them.

And for me and those close to me, today marks the second birthday of my young Grandson.

So Happy Birthday, short dark and handsome.

But for me also, today is bittersweet … two years ago … on this day … the day my Grandson was born … it was also the start of what promised to be a lifetime of joy and the start of something long desired. After months … years … of … whatever.

It was arguably the best day of my life as far as being filled with pure joy, love and hope for the future.

Unfortunately, it all came to a screeching halt far too soon.

But just for today, I am going to remember the joy … the love … the hope … and wonder if anyone else is remembering today.
