One name.
Rarely are there people who rise to the level of bravery this young woman has achieved.
And certainly not at age 16.
I was one of the many who felt she deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.
And I am exceedingly disappointed that the committee chose not to recognize her.
Close as I can tell, the only ones pleased with the choice not to recognize her are the Committee themselves … and the Taliban, who are delighted.
She has faced down the terrorists in her town, and survived their assassination attempt.
She has spoken out world-wide on behalf of millions of young people … encouraging them to greater goals and education.
She left Jon Stewart speechless recently on his show.
She has inspired millions of young people to higher goals and achievements.
She graciously congratulated the winners and continues her work.
Pakistan can be proud of its daughter.
I wish we had leaders in the US House who were this focused and adult.
