… that my word count has not moved … not one iota … not one word.
You might also notice that the post today is inordinately late … compared to the time of day that I usually post.
I wish I could say it is because I was swept away in joyful bliss and all the things that a woman of a certain age might dream for.
I wish I could say it is because something wonderful has happened that has rendered me speechless.
I wish I could say it is because I have been given a talent that so surpasses any desire for writing that writing pales in comparison.
I wish I could say it is because I … well … anything except what really happened.
Reality?
Stuff happens. Often beyond my control. And occasionally those things that happen are … unbelievable as it might seem to some other avid writers … more important than a NaNoWriMo word count.
Or even a blog entry.
