I was just typing on my beloved Netpad for another blog that I do.

And I was admonished to “Take a Short Trip to a Place Called Done”. 

I sensed a blog entry coming on. 

“Take a Short Trip to a Place Called Done”. That’s what it says over on the right side of the screen here.

Since this is the free Starter Version of Word on Netpad, they do commercials … over on the right side of the screen. They change every few minutes and allow you to click-through to the additional detail.

I hardly ever click.

But I do like to take Short Trips.

I take Short Trips to the store to get food. I take Short Trips to the local quick shopper to get gas. Sometimes I take a Short Trip to the one grocery store to get food and gas.

I take Short Trips to see my family. I take Short Trips to see friends in plays. I take Short Trips to get a break from things. I take Short Trips to do volunteer work.

But I have never taken a Short Trip to Done.

Where is Done, anyway?

Is it something like the End Of The Rainbow? Or Somewhere Over The Rainbow? Or maybe it doesn’t have anything to do with Rainbows … I am thinking not.

Although when I am Done with something I sometimes am happy … like I am when I see a Rainbow.

I wish Done was just a short trip.

Any Short Trip of mine is usually more like a Short Trip to Chaos. Or Whatever. That would be right down the road from where I live here. Where I live is not the End Of The World … but you can certainly see it from here.

“Take a Short Trip to a Place Called Done”?

I am thinking they are talking more about getting things done. Get things done, easily.

Interesting concept. 

What we need is an app that lets you point and shoot … or cut and paste … and finish the work. Now THAT would make me Happy.

Need to do Housework? Highlight and Delete … Done. Short Trip.

Redecorate the Entire House? Cut and Paste … Done. Short Trip.

Want a New Outfit? Point and Shoot … Done. Short Trip.

The possibilities are endless. Think outside of the box, folks. “Take a Short Trip to a Place Called Done” …  in style.

I am thinking they were only talking about typing something, though.
