So WordPress has some new emoticons, eh?  But … what was wrong with the old ones?

Somewhat reluctantly I read down through the post. They looked kind of bulky. Fat emoticons. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

If I understand correctly, these new ones look suspiciously like ones that were used back in G+ … well, for all I know G+ is still in use. But not by me.

I was looking through the post they sent … looking at all the normal ones. The smile … the frown … the wink … the heart … and all the others.

Then … I saw it.

The one I had been asking for all over the place. The one that never was found … until now.

The Eyerolling Emoticon. 

How many times had I typed … in Facebook … in Outlook … in many other places … “And where is a good eyerolling emoticon when I need it?”

If you’ve not noticed the trick here, you can just rest your mouse on top of any of the emoticons shown here … and up will pop a tooltip (little box) that tells you what keys you need to type in order to get the new emoticons.

There are the usual old ones that everyone knows about. And a few that I’ve shown you up at the top here.

But then … in addition to the eyerolling one … they said there were certain “secret” ones. And the hunt was on.
